Ok I have a 95 talon esi. I want to make it faster but having problems finding parts. Will parts for an eclipse fit? Also are there clear tails for talons?

damn we're in a tight spot

yes eclipse parts will fit for the most part. and i dont think there are clears for a talon. maybe some costom jobs around, but not a whole lot of options for taillight for a talon. just make sure you get the right parts 420a or 4g63, ( i never can remeber what all the talon esi esi-t esimnpsi, what ever all those letter mean) emoji

It's good.
You have the same engine as the non-turbo eclipse models - RS/GS

95 Eclipse RS : 5 speed
Gude cams : Test pipe : CAI : Dual air horns
incomming - lower strut bars

95 Eclipse RS : 5 speed
14.76 @ 94.72mph

Hey, my names Andrew and i have a 95 talon esi also. If you want to get more power you could get a cold air intake (search ebay for eclipse intake and anyone for the 95-99 non turbo will fit, or AEM makes a good one for our cars), and then you could get a perfromance muffler or even better a cat back exhaust. I have just an intake right now, and i noticed the power increase the first time i took it out. after those mods then you can go to a udp. Or do what im doin and save up for a turbo kit or nitrous kit. glad to see another esi on the board.

As for the lights, there arent any made for our car. the talons have slightly different shaped lights than the eclipses. you could do a eclipse conversion and then get some clears, but id say forget it. id say buy some staind glass spray paint from AcMore of a local crafts store and just get rid of the orange and dye them red. someone on the board just did it and it looked good, so just look through some old posts and youll see it.

Ok here are my plans so far. Intake, cat-back exauhst, header, udp.
Thats all I have right now all I have really been able to find. Also I had the tranny rebuilt not to long ago but it's acting up again is there anything performance wise that I can do to the tranny or are there any performance trannys? Has anyone tried a 56mm throttle body thats floating around out there for the 420a? Just curious say it on a web page the other day was wondering if it was worth the money.

damn we're in a tight spot

welcome to the club.. since you are new to the board, it would be a good thing for you too look at the "things ive seen before" forum.. it is loaded with information, most of which have the answers to the questions you have asked. b/c you are new, that is a great place to start the learning process and should get you on your way to a empty wallet. also, if you have a general question, you can try searching it.. sometimes it acts up, but generally it works..

there are performance trannys for our cars, and many members have used the bored TB (howellautomotive.com).. the TB is a good mod for its price and i would recommend it.

have fun with your car, it will only be a matter of time before you become a full out modding freak! once again, welcome!

^^what once was^^

^^what is now.. and permanently^^

Ok I read the section you refered me to and It seems like that its a money space issue, on the don't ask a question till you search to see if it's been asked before. Well depending on th space you need I host websites. I can probably get you more space for less money. Just need to know what is paid now and how much space is needed. Just thought that this might help the forum out alot. email me or im me for any questions.
