Ok, I have 500 to spend. My question is, should I go straight for the NOS kit I am planning on purchasing eventually or wait and get my exhuast and pully now? Which is going to give me more power now and how much will I be limited without a catback for the nos to work with? Thanks

the pully will give you more power, but the exhaust will help out more while using nitro b/c it free's up the air more, and u'll want that when u're running nitro, the more nitro you run the better an exhaust will help out. but obviously the nitro will give you more power than the exhaust AND the pully combined. (nitro is so much fun)

Go for the nitro, man!!! You can use it completely stock and you'll be much much faster than with the dinky pulley and exhaust. I can't really stress it enough. I did minor engine mods first and didn't really have much of a gain at all... until I bought the NOS kit. You will be happy and I think it's a much wiser way to spend 5 bills if you want to go fast!
