is as much as 33 degrees normal for our cars? i am seeing 33 degrees every now and then.

I've gotten to 39 degrees total timing. This was recorded off of a Snap-On Diagnostic tool.

from what i've heard our cars can go from 12 to 42 deg in advance stock.

Geez, is it that much on a basically stock n/a car? I wonder how much it is under boost? Hmmm...

you can get up to 40 deg advance if you are at part throttle

at full throttle stock I've seen, at most, 20 degrees advance. with the safc leaned out -10% at the top end, the timing now goes up to 23 degrees advance. it seems the less fuel the computer thinks is going into the engine, the less load it thinks is on the engine, and the more timing it will give you (that's just a guess, though)
