what year do you have if you have 95-96 it is under the winshield washior reservior - you have to remove battery - power steering cylinder or brake cylinder i dont know what it is then the washer reservior and boom its right there

On a 95-96 it is located on the left side fire wall under the windshield fluid container and the brake fluid resevoir. yank out the windshield wiper fluid canister and unbolt the brake fluid reservoir. I just changed mine last week. if infact you have a 95-96 Un tighten the bottom line first before you unbolt the braket from the fire wall. It will make things alot easier. and also use a 19 MM wrench to hold teh top and bottom of the filter from twisting while removing the lines.

I must have a unique GS. Mine is a 96 (9/95 build date)and my filter is back by the tank. I spent an hour looking for it by the firewall, but out of curiosity peeked my head under the rear by the tank, and there it was...

i have a 96, i couldn't find it in the engine bay but i'll check again, thanks alot, hopeful this will help me get more mpg
