Is this possible? - cause my car will run when it is cold but when it get to hot it shuts down - WTF!?!? - i've called this place where i live and they say that MIT. builds a crappy computer and in the past months the have replaced 3 on eclipses around 115,000 miles - cars with the same symptoms of my car - i was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem?

Yeah it is possible in our cars, and any other cars. My friend's '90 Grand Am computer went bad 2 days ago.

Yes PCM's will go bad but it's not that common of a problem. At work every once in awhile one comes in and it will need a new PCM. And those fuckers aint cheap either, new PCM's cost around $800 bills.

Ya it happen on my GS one minute cars runs fine next minute it dies out of nowhere and it wont start at all. have to just push the car off the road and wait for 10min to an hour, one time even longer more like 7 hours.
