Okay this is my first post and need some help from you guys with the pacesetter header. i have a 97 gs and just installed my pacesetter headers. everything went okay i thought until i turn the car on, it sounds terrible. like an old motorcycle with the popping rumble noise. should the headers sound that bad or did i hook something wrong? it came in three pieces the header, y pipe and the head pipe extension. i used the gaskets that came with it. should i have used the original metal manifold gasket?? let me know what it could be, really need to fix it and would hate to have to put the original back on just because the header sounds like crap.

You probably have an exhaust leak somewhere in teh system. track it down and make sure you get the bolts properly lined up and tight. also if the gaskest it came with are paper ones (which I think they are) then it'd be a good idea to get them replaced with metal ones, cause the papers won't last.
