#20857, "tranny temps High"

well last night i installed a crane ignition etc its all good sorta, but today on my way to work i notice on my tranny temp gauge that half way about 10-15mins of driving hot weather it got up to 220 degrees not even pushing it around 12pm... recently around 7pm nice and cool my gauge turns on stays around 110 crusing then after just 5 mins of driving it went up to 125-150-to 180 not even boosting.. i checked all my lines from the radiator to tranny to cooler its all nice and tight no leaks? what could i check out? could my autometer tranny temp sensor or gauge gone bad all of a sudden?
thanks

i had it flushed by the dealer about 1 month ago... and i just finish checking the fluid hoses all tight from top to bottom etc... at the T its also all good? i also checked the fluid level and its within specs?? just wondering but if its too low or to high what would happen? its weird i just let the car idle in my garage 800 degrees at the egt and my tranny temp was at 180 so weird... mostly on hot days crusing it go to a max of 150 ... mostly around 100-115 .... could my sensor have gone bad for the gauge? could we buy just the sensor alone for a tranny temp gauge by autometer electrical?
