#2055, "ahhhhhhhh!! oil in my spark plug problem"

i have a 95 Talon esi and it was running kinda slluggish so i went to change the spark plugs today. When i pulled out the black rubber thing that holds the spark plug in (pulled the one on the very right out first) the entire hole was filled with oil. Only the one on the very right was completely filled with oil, the one on the very left had a little bit of oil in it, but the two in the middle were fine. I'm only 17 and i dont know too much about engines, but im pretty sure thats not supposed to happen. Any ideas on whats wrong?

My Talon had the same problem. Your valve cover and spark plug gaskets need to be changed. My warranty covered it, so I took it to Satan and had him fix it. Took him two days though. If not, check out Corbin's valve cover and gasket maintainance article in the MODS section of the 2gnt home page. In the mean time, soak up the oil and clean out those spark plug wells. Make sure your engine oil level is full too.

yeah it pretty easy to fix. Not too bad. Just make sure when you are replacing your valve cover gasket, not to pver torque on bolts. use a TQ wrench if possible.
