When I down shift and rev the engine to a high rpm and then pop the clutch, I get a loud squeal until the rpms match the gear. Is this the syncro's?? Clutch??? What can it be?

probably not the best idea to pop the clutch when doing downshits.. that's really hard on everything. Better to feather it.. unless you match teh rpm's perfectly. If you clutch is strong enough you can also loose control from the front tires slipping from them matching the engine instead of the engine matching the tire speed. hehe. but the squealing is almost definatly your belts actually. the engine is forced to speed up really quickly when you do a clutch drop downshift and the accessorys won't speed up that quick.. so the belts slip. Do that too much and you'll loose your belts too.

I have the engine running at about 4000 to 6000 rpms when I do it. I dont do it often though. Normaly I double clutch.

i always thought double clutching was somehting truck drivers do...to match gears due to lack of synchro's...what exactly are u doing???? you should try learning to match gears, it'll make your ride way smoother and be much less harmful too your engine, tranny and most of all your clutch.

What I read is by double clutching you don't work your syncros as hard. It's acctually smooth as hell if you get it right. I don't get that little laggy feeling.
