I don't know much about airride suspension, (correct me if I am wrong) but they HAVE to do the recall (i am assuming the ball joint recall) no matter what is on the car, as long as you received a notice in the mail or your car hasn't already been in for the recall

They do it on lowered cars and my car with coilovers, so they should do it for your car. It's their legal duty to do it, so if they give you problems, tell them you will car Mitsubishi and the NHTSA about it (their numbers are given on the recall letter).

They might try to give you problems about being lowered, one of the satans here did. They told me lowering the car puts undue stress on the ball joints so I would have to pay to have them replaced. Called another up and they said no problem they would take care of it. I really dont see what it matters as the dealers are getting paid by mitsubishi to do this work. Actually they make a little money on the deal because they get paid for two hour labor and they can replace a couple ball joints in 40 mintues.
