#19928, "our ignitions, is it a wasted spark type?"

I was wondering if our ignition was a wasted spark type. we only have 2 coils so does it spark 2 cylinders at a time while igniting only one of those cylinders? I was wondering if this was the case and if so can't we swap coil terminals within the sets that are tied together?
thanks

Yes our ignition fired two cylanders at once.

What do you mean swap coil terminals? Switch cylanders 1 with 4 and 2 with 3? Yes you could... but why would you want to? You would need longer spark plug wires adding resistance and reducing the spark energy getting to the spark plug. So you would have to make custom wires for this, and again why? There's no gains to doing something like this.
