I had a new crank pulley put on at the dealership where I bought my car, it was fine for tewo weeks, but then when i would turn on my headlights or heater, the alternator belt would squeal.i just ignored it until yesterday when i was driving home on the freeway and both my p/s--a/c belt and my alternator belt came off. What do you guys think is causing this? It has happened before and after I got the pulley changed.I am thinking about just running my car off a cliff and collecting the insurance.I so PIST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its possible that ur belts were loose. When u put on new belts, they have to be retorqued after a few miles, since they kinda grow a little slack after being put on. After that it should be fine. Same thing happened with me. I put on an UDP. The belts were squealing everytime I pulled the steering wheel to the extreme right or left. Then after 2 months, they finally broke. Just had new ones put in. So far, no squealing. If I ever hear it again, I know what to do...
