ok the gs-t exhaust is the cheepsst most effective way to upgrade exhaust.

but what about straight though piping all the way. a friend at advanced auto told me it gives a great sound and hp.

will it work?? there isn't an emmissions where i'm at... and i'll just hollow out the cat and bolt it over the pipe....

i'm not too sure about doing this because i'm affraid it woln't drive right, or sumtin.. if any1 has info that can help me please set me straight

I don't know that it's worth it... for a Naturally Aspired engine you do need some backpressure for low end torque. Until you are pushing a lot more Hp, then the stock cat is fine. replacement with a high flow cat or straight pipe is toward the bottom of my mods list. A GS-T rear section exhaust, a good cold air intake and the AF/X undredrive pulley should be your first steps. The pulley will definately give you a noticeable difference.
