It's a pretty good header for the money. But if you're planning on keeping it a while get it ceramic coated, otherwise it will rust out in a year. I didn't get mine coated because I will most likely go turbo and the header gets tossed when the turbo manifold goes on.

Yeah, it was black for about 15 minutes. Now it's like this pewter gun metal color. The paint baked like super quick. If you get it ceramic coated it will be silver.

I have it... The black paint burned off really quick. Looks like crap now. Didnt notice any real gains from it, the only thing it did was make my exhaust sound raspy until it warms up.

Anyone have the Pacesetter cat back? Did the block coating on the exhaust bake off too? Is it worth it?

I need a cat-back and I think I just might buy the Pacesetter and just hack off the tip and put my old Greddy tip on it.

I had the pacesetter catback before I got my OBX. The exhaust doesn't get nearly as hot as the header so the paint doesn't bake off like the header. But the inside of the tip is yellow and I found that when you wash your car or drive in the rain the exhaust would rust from the inside and turn the yellow tip this nasty color which was hard as hell to clean. It's a good exhaust for the cash, but if you have the extra funds go with a stainless set-up or at least a stainless muff.
