If it's the one I think you are talking about yes it is a vacuum hose. Goes to a three way connector behind the passenger side of the intake manifold. (Almost sure there are three in the coupling from when I did my silicone hoses)

it is the one over top of the timing belt cover(black plastic casing) the hose i am referring to is metal in this location, and it comes from the front of the car passenger side under wheel well casing(black plastic)but as i follow this hose it runs up towards the firewall from the front of the car over top of this timing belt housing cover. can anyone tell me where the rest of this is to lead?..... cause mine stops at the end of the metal and it looks like it should have another hose there but it does not...what does it go to and what system is a part of?.....is it part of evap canister? rob louisville, ky 97 rs enki17x7 magnacore groundcontrol hahnstage1 greddycatback struttowerbar nittosrear khumosfront shortshift lightnedflywheel knfiltercharge coldair/intake blitzturbotimer autometer a/f ratio autometer boost guage CENTERFORCE DUAL FRICTION
