Leave all the connected. That keeps the CEL away...

Let me get this
1.You take out the tube
2.block off the intake manifold port...
3.block off the egr port where the tube would run out of(to the intake),,,,leave all vac lines hooked up!

let me know cuz I am kinda in the middle of this mod myself,
and want to keep the cel away

What are you guys using to block off the egr and where the pipe goes to the intake? I want to do this but need to know what to use.

okay lemme get this right if i just block off the egr pipe i will not get a CEL if i leave everything else intact? i thought you still would. I got a CEL and a code for insufficient flow through the EGR system and when i cleaned the crap from inside the pipe the CEL went away. I was thinking to make an EGR restrictor instead of a blockoff to keep the CEL off, but of you guys say i can just block it off and have no CEL then i'm all for it!.
thanks
james

Rest In Peace Heidi Doggy
