Ok.. i spent last Friday removing and put my intake manifold on.. only took me about 4 hours, and it was all by myself. I was trying to fix a leak somewhere on my previous removal and instal a few weeks back. While I did this I also planned to install the spacer made by Corbin. Well first off just a tip i might add on my part of forgetfulness.. always be sure to re-attach all sensors to the throttle body before starting the car up. neways first few runs i didnt think there was any noticable difference, but after driving around for about a week the car seems to be a bit more peppy and i think the spacer is helping add a little juice to the car. The power seems to get added to the midrange more than the low too. I dont believe its a whole lot, but for the but dyno it is fairly detectable.. if anything the upper half stays pretty cool after running the car.. i can accualy hold my hand on it and all it feels is warm. also note that the 4 hours i spent on mine was a total removal and reinstall of the upper and lower half. for installing the spacer all it required will be the removal of teh upper half and that should only take at most 2 hours. neways all im glad is that my car seems to be running pretty good except for all the strange noises my tranny is making as if it wants to die.. and the annoying hissing is gone from my leak before i redid my manifold so all in all its a fairly recomended addition to the add-ons of our cars.
