i got my exaust done to prepare for turbo and the thing is loud as all getout it has a 4inch tip on it because he didn't have any smaller ones in stock... so i'm wondering will reducing the tip down to the 2.5 inch size that the muff and piping are would that quiet it down or do i have to look into a new muffler

once u get the turbo on, it will be MUCH quieter. the turbo quiets the exhaust a lot. my car when NA was louder w/ stock piping and arospeed muffler than it is now w/ thermal 3" catback.

Yeah turbo will wuiet it down. But the smaller tip would help a little bit... Also adding a resonator would wuiet things down for you.

well it's a magnaflow glass pack on there and a turbo will only quiet it so much it sounds like there is a harley runnung inside my car

so out of all the exausts on this board who has a free flowing muffler that is not super loud i want no baffles but i don't want it to sound like it does now with just the glass pack as a muffler so what should i get
