what kind of oil should i use? oil filter? what other kinda fluids should i change/check ?

most people recommend synthetic oil (of course), and many on this board recommend Royal Purple or Purple Royal oil, whichever way you say it, lol....

As far as fluids? Just keep that clutch, brake, and radiator fluid in and you're good to go. Change your tranny fluid every 30k miles I think, (i did mine at 65k,hahaa) And be sure it's that BG syncroshift fluid or the Mopar VR4 fluid... or you will kiss your tranny goodbye.

I need to change the oil in my tranny (my zx2 mtx) well atleast I think I do, nowhere in all the manuals does it say to change (or even check) the MTX tranny fluid.. only the ATX trannys. One of the guys on our board is a Ford mechanic and he said 20K-30K miles (I got 33K on it now) but anyways, what I was getting to. is on my tranny (not a 2gnt one) we put good ol' standard Mercon ATF fluid in.. hehe. I thought that was a little weird. I will probably put some synthetic mercon in though and not dino juice.
