Mine is on order, hopefully it will arive in time for me to put it in. For this reason I have not opened up my tranny yet. I need to know if I need a speedo drive gear(like I saw on RRE's web page) or if that is just for the 4g63 differential, I dont think I do, since it looks like there is some kind of electrical sensor on the tranny and I never pulled off a cable. Anyone know? Also when I break the tranny open what other parts will I need to re-assemble, gaskets? tia

Nope. The vehicle speed sensor DOES engage a gear(connected to a magnetic puckup) on the differential, but it's no big deal to line them back up (or not, they're plastic, it flexes, just cram it in there, it'll be fine )

The reverse light switch is the only other one, and you won't have to touch it unless you accidentally spill your tranny.

The case seal is red locktight. You can probably use any good, oil imprevious anaerobic case sealant on it and be fine.
