the other day i took my car to jiffy lube for a oil change, they said my fuel injection needs to be cleaned, i never had it done and was lazy so told them to go ahead... well when they finish cleaning it/ and pull my car out my check engine light comes on... now i have a high idle, my car idles at about 2rpm, i pulled the power cord on the throttle and my car had no reaction, i think it may be the throttle sensor, but not sure, anybody have the same thing happen, i mean they did take off the intake connection (newbie) please help!! thanks ohh ya - 95rs

tell jiffylube they fucked something up. go somewhere else, get it fixed, and give jiffy the bill. they've got insurance so they will cover it. tell them what you're doing before you do it though just incase you have to bitch them out for it or something.

Next time just buy and throw a good fuel injector cleaner in your gas tank.. I do it every oil change.

All mechanic shops like Jiffy lube, Firestone, Tires Plus.....etc. Are very over-rated, the same cleaner that they offer you can do it yourself at the gas station with a little trip before to Pep Boys. I do believe that those places sometimes save you the hassle of actually changing your oil. But they are in the business of "up-selling" so they want money where possible. Have your car checked out and send them the bill. No offense to anyone that works at the above mentioned places.....
