#1866, "Specs for Total Seal rings on stock 420a pistons?"
A friend of mine needs to order total seal piston rings but apparently they dont have an OEM spec in their records. Does anyone know the info below required for a custom order? I need:
-Cylinder bore size -Ring width/depth
Someone must have ordered total seal rings for their OEM I4 420a pistons...anyone know where to order these? or did you also have to do a custom order?
Thanks, Vinnie

the part number is 9574. There are some options that you can get like standard bore or specific overbore sizes. I got standard bore to replace my current rings. These rings are the xtreem line they are made fro nitrous, turbo, supercharger, and other extreme applications, so i thought they were a good choice because i am going turbo soon. They are currently in my 420A which is still N/A and they are working fine, just be carefull putting them in! see ya

Dont have it in there records? Then why did I get the parts number off their website a couple yrs ago. Yeah they've had a parts # for yrs. I got mine from howell automotive but Summit also sells them. Basic specs are on Total Seals website where you look up part #s but if you email them they respond very quickly. BTW the parts number I have is the same as mentioned. Maybe you should have just said DOHC Neon engine. My pistons ring lands were made based on total seal specs.

Thanks guys...that part number is the right one..but they have it listed for just "eclipse". I have corrected them and asked them to add the "420a standard bore" info.
