I actually had a Short ram and CAI from AEM and I did notice a pickup from 3000 rpm and up. Even in 5th gear.

I have the AEM CAI and it really does add to the overall pep of the motor. But with the actual cold air setup you really notice at higher speeds. In my eclipse I can get to 130 easy (not that easy) but a lot easier than with the short ram. I am currently with the short ram setup which is basically putting the filter where the bypass valve goes and I really notice that it's better for take off in the short ram. Not as good in the high soeed but better from light to light.....AEM CAI= Very good investment
