#18284, "next step? headers?"

I drive a 95 gs w/intake and cat-back. Do you think I should go for headers next. I want a stage 11 HRC turbo kit in the distant future and that will replace the headers it says so do you think i should just wait?

Just wait and put the money into your turbo funds. You really wouldn't get anything out of a header anyway IMO.

I would not suggest that you get headers as your next modification. You should buy the AFX UDP and/or cam gears. You will get more power from one or both of these two modifications than from headers

Yeah, just go with the UDP. If you get headers now, you'll just be wasting your money if you plan on boosting.

That was my first post and i made an ass outta myself. At least it was high enough to obviously be a typo. It would have been worse if i put 7 or 8 or something. Anyway. How many horses can I expect from pulleys or cam gears or both? thanx for the help.

about 15-20 hp to the wheels from both modifications 10 from just the pulley and 5-10 from the cam gears

If you were staying NA I would have said go with the header, but I would not do it sincee you plan on boositng.

AFX Underdrive Pulley http://howellautomotive.com or PTuning
Cam Gears, Howell has Fidanzas for $250 but some Neons guys dont' like the bolt design. They also have AEM cam gears are 3 bolts to Fidanzas & unorthodox 5 bolt. The AEM and Unorthodox are available at different places.

Are the AFX UDP easy to install? How much would it cost for a mechanic to install them? How much of my A/C etc. will I sacrifice?

Depends on your definition of easy. Is it really difficult, no. Is it time consuming, yes. I did mine in just over three hours, So I figure a good mechanic could do it in a couple. And it depends on your mechanic as to how much they would charge. Where do you live? Ask one of these guys in your area to come and help you install it, I would if I was close to you.
