Ok I tried to do the indiglo needle thing but I cant get my speed tack and my rpm tack to be right on. When I pulled the needles off they got messed up. I need help on where to put them on. any pics would help.

Did you lift the needles over the stop pin and mark where they settled in place?
For the the tach, best that I can suggest is start the car and let it warm up. As I'm sure that you know, idle speed should be around 800 RPM.
Place the tach needle on the car as it is running at idle.
For the speedo, if you didn't mark the resting point, only thing that I can think of is install and adjust by taking out and reinstalling a few times. What I mean is that get the tach to speed that matches a known mph speed while drinving.
For instance, with my car, I am pretty sure that at 3500 RPM, in fifth gear, before the gauge change I was doing about 80 mph. I noted how far my speedo was off from 80 mph at the 3500 rpm engine speed and adjusted accordingly.
Or tail someone you know that has a good speed and adjust based on that.
I realize either method is not very scientific, but I don't have any other device that would give me rpm or speed of the ECU, so it was what I had to do for now too.

Right, set the tach at or around 700-800RPM at idle, WHEN the car is fully warmed.
For the speedo, go to this site, http://pw1.netcom.com/~sgalaba/mph.htm , enter all the required info, calculate. It will give you all ACCURATE speeds per RPM, pick one and go for it. Pop the needle on the speedo at the correct RPM, please note that your tach must be accurate to begin with.

ok I'll try that, but does anyone know what the needle sould be behind the tip? I've tryed to just guess but its off like 3-4 mph. i just want it as close as possible.
