I was wondering if this happened to anyone else. When i reach top rpms, something rattles towards the front of the dash/back of the engine. I am not sure what it is, but it gets annoying. Its make me feel like my car is a honda, lol.

my shifter vibrates and makes kind of a buzzing noise..... is that what you're talking about???

I know what you mean. if i keep the trans in low(i got auto), wehn i get to upper 5's to low 6's there is a distinct vibration that seems to come from the lower part of the dash by the passenger side. i dont knwo what it is, but i definatly notice it every time my rpm's get real high and start to max out. if you fig out what it is, please post it. i dont think it is a problem though, as its never caused a problem for me(yet).

Don't sweat it. My NT A/T did it too around 5500 rpms. Never caused a problem.

I know the avenger guys had a similar problem and found out that it was the hood and where it mounts to the body, they put a cloth around the hinge to put more pressure on it and it seemed to go away, try that

Yep, mine does the same thing at high rpms...everyone who drives with me is scared my car is breaking. Has done it ever since I got it, my dad thinks its just a piece of the dash rattling because of the high vibrations.

I have the same rattle @ around 5500, and it goes away around 6200.

Didn't notice it untill I put the polyurethane inserts in my motor mounts.
