i am thinking of making myown cat back system insed of paying 500 yucks for a sytem i whant a tanabe race medalion but i dont whant to spend the money so i was wondering if you guys can tell me some mufflers and how they sound also how would i get the mufer to slant at a angle if i make my own all replys are greatly apreseated thank you

You can get universal Apexi N1, 5Zigen, Arospeed bomb, HKS hiper or Hayame mufflers ect that all have the same N1 style as the Tanabe. You'd be hard pressed to tell the difference between any of them.

Trust me, spend the money on the Tanabe. It is the nicest looking exhaust out there IMO. I got one last year and it looks great. I like the N1 but the quality of the Tanabe is one step above. If you really want to do a custom job get the HKS Hiper it's built a bit nicer then the N1.
