is tha phantom grip worth the money? or should i just say fuck it and wait a while and buy the quafie? while i have my tranny out and if the phantom grip is worth the money then i may as well by it.

i herd the phantom sucked though for cornering, is that true?


what would you guys do? spend 300 on pt lifters and rockers or get the phantom lsd?
one or the other....no ifs ands or buts

As far as that goes, I have heard some people don't like the Phantom Grip but others have no problems. Talk to Super20G (Brad) about the differential modification he is working on with a guy that has been doing them for years. It is similar to the phantom grip but made specific to your differential so there are no problems with tolerance differences in manufacturing. I'll let you know what I think when mine gets back to me.

I spoke with a couple of shops that has installed this "Phantom" and they're telling not to buy it. They said it tends to "shatter" and that it tends to lock up or something. Just wait to go with the "real" stuff--you'll save yourself money and headache, in the long run. Just my .02 cents.
