Wanna get rid of wheelhop? Totally? for good?

Buy the AFX solid front motor mount.

yea its when the front shakes like a mother. but like many people have stated, wheel hop is only when you are losing traction. so that means slower take-offs. why would you want that. just take off with less wheel-spin. but still get the inserts, i love mine.

you can also use window sealant instead of the inserts and it works just as good.

The Energy Suspension Motor Mount inserts did TOTALLY eliminate DRY weather wheel hop for me, however in WET weather if I get on it I do get a LITTLE BIT of wheel hop but NO WHERE NEAR what it was with only stock motor mounts. They are very easy to install and WELL WORTH the $20 or so dollars you spend.

who sells the energy suspension mounts?
do the energy suspension mounts cause the shaking like the solid mount does? judging by the advice from people with the AFX mount, the general concensus seems to be that slightly less vibration would be perfect...is this about what we will get with an insert from NRG?

I don't even notice any shaking at idle anymore with the energy mounts. I got mine from Summit.

I barely notice mine either and I just installed the rear mount last week (did the front mount about a month ago). I kind of like the vibration though.

wheel hop is a mother fugger, expecially in dry pavement... it dont take much wheel hop to break our stock diffs or axles i hear, so be careful and cross your fingers, hehe..

What causes the wheel hop? The engine torquing? I hate wheel hop like nothing else. Other than maybe braking something, It's embarrasing as heck too.

i think the inserts gave a much better feel when in traffic, my car vibrates a little at idle and it increases if you drag down the engine any lower than idle...so it makes it easier to feel the car's rpm's when you aren't lookin at the tach. i don't think i'll ever stall it now that i can feel what rpm range i'm in rather than trying to listen or watch the tach
