I'm desperately needing to solve my 1st and 2nd gear wheelhopping dilema, so I'm turning to the soild motor mount from Howell. Who out there has one? How harsh is the vibration after? Feel the difference? I'm not really worried about vibration, just curious how bad it is.

i think the solid motor mount would be good for race only aplications. it is 75 bux, i think, and the inserts are only like 27 shippd from summit.

i have no more wheel hop after doin the insert install....

i guess its all up to u. you will get more vibrations, especially at idle, and at the upper rpm range.

a good cheap mod that will help u keep the tires on the ground, and apply the torque in the proper manner.

good luck.

on my site, there is a walk-thru on the front insert install, and an idea that RRE had for less $ and more hassle.

I have the solid front motor mount and I like it a lot. I dont even notice the vibrations any more. And I can still get nasty wheel hop if i launch it hard on the street.
