I was looking in the manual and it shows a special tool. Well, I obviously don't have the special tool and I can't see how it would be under a $100.00 (seams like everything you purchase from them is over $100.00) if I purchased it from the dealership. Just wondering if anyone had done this on their own, and if so, how?

i pushed them in with a socket that was just the right size. took a few trips to the store to get the right size.

I suggest you torque your cams down to factory spec THEN install the seals. That makes sure your cam seals are seated properly. I just used a flathead screwdriver and pressed the seal in a bit at each spot while going around the seal to make sure it seated uniformely.

Yeah since I am going to be doing it again, I am going to do it right. I installed the cams without removing the belt and I reused the cam seals too!!! OH well, I have the new seals sitting at the house.

Well I am installing new cam seals for my 60K service (only a a few bucks a piece, figured what the hell). So, I can just pop the old ones out and put the new ones in by hand right?
