On some occassions when I accelerate hard on my AT Right when its about to redline in first it surges, Kinda like when you hit a rev limiter in a MT, It does shift to second but its a hard yank hesitation. It seems like it slips. This doesn't happen all the time. Its a given when shes cold and occasionally when warm. I Flush the tranny quite frequently, and shes never been "raced", any ideas??

You say you flush the tranny quite often....are you using the factory Mopar Tranny fluid? If not, that might be your problem. Our trannies only seem to work with that specified fluid. The dealer near me has had a lot of Autos comming in for repair due to the fact that the Mopar tranny fluid wasn't used.

I assume so, I'll have to check with the Jiffy lube joint where I go, I know they stock all the main ATF fluids.

I got mine changed at Jiffy Lube also and it was the best mod I have ever done. Took care of all my tranny problems.

Really? What kind of fluid did they use, and how much was it?

I too heard we can ONLY use Mopar fluid for the tranny or it can get severely damaged. I remember this applied to all cars using this tranny, and read some sites with more info.
