Have you noticed an increase in mid-range power and top end? Thats because your motor isn't dumping exhaust in your intake.

Let me guess, your gas mileage sucks?

If you have a few mods on your car and can put up with the decreased gas mileage then don't mess with it.

If you want your gas mileage back and want gunk in your intake.

Next to the intake is a black actuator (solenoid/sensor) with a Chrystler star on it along with a wire clip and hoses comming out of it.

There should be one hose going into the block next to the header and two vacuum hoses.

Follow those vacuum hoses-

One should go to the intake manifold, check and make sure that hose flows properly. You should be able to unplug the hose and blow in it on one end to check if air is moving through it.

The other moves down to the EGR valve. Make sure that hose isn't kinked in any way and that air is moving through it.

If both hoses are functioning properly, It could be the actuator is malfunctioning.
