Well i finally got it installed. Thanks to everyone for your help. After trying so long, i just decided to clamp the rubber sleeve to the TB first, and then i placed the short pipe into it afterwards. That helped it fit in perfect, and it don't feel like it's going anywhere.

Feels nice i'd have to say. Now sometime after spring break i'll get my exhaust installed and it will be all good until i can replenish some funds for the expensive stuff.

Oh and on a good side note, i checked my bank account and the charge from the intake never went all the way through so as of today it's a free intake.

Holy Crap, i bought the same exact CAI as you, from the same exact guy on ebay.

thanks to your previous post, and the helpful info from the peeps of the board, i installed my CAI with no problems.

But, its not as secure as id like it to be... i never found a place to put those mounting brackets...

did you manage get them on? if so, where abouts?
