#16734, "If you put K&N Filter on stock intake....."
Wassup guys? And yes, I tried searching for any related posts, but didnt seem to find any. I found a lot about installing CAI's and stuff but thats not what im looking for.
Anyways... to anyone who merely put a conical K&N filter on your stock intake and removed the entire box, where did you attach the intake to? When I did it the filter really weighted it down so the intake kinda just flopped around when I drove around hitting a bunch of things (I know, I heard it) because it was only attached to the throttle body with the clamp. So if anyones out there thats driving around with just the filter on thier intake help me out and tell me how I can make sure that thing doesnt fly around. Thanks.

Mine was also just hanging there, but didn't seem to move around much. It really shouldn't move that much because the pipe is pretty secure just hanging from the throttle body and stuck in between the motor and battery.

I had to also get an adapter for it to fit. You need to measure the inlet size. Mine had a small horn that went inside the stock tubing, and adapted to the size of the opening on the filter.
