Just wanting to know if anyone is running a MSD DIS-2 without any problems. The reason why is I'm not using a tach adapter and have just had problems come around since I got the msd installed. The main problem is I keep blowing out my ignition switch fuse. I never blew this fuse out before I had the MSD installed. It actually only goes out after I drive the car around too. Then when it goes out once if i try to put another one in it will go out again. But when I let the car cool down I put a new fuse in I can start my car. Again this has only started happening since I put the msd in so thats were I think the problem is and the question that if I put the tach adapter in do you think it will go away?

mine works fine without the tach adapter, but i had that same problem about 6 months ago. And it turned out that a wire had gotten too hot and melted the coating off and would touch aginst metal, and pop the ignition fuse. i paied satan 350 and they could'nt even find it, or tell me for sure what caused it. I just happen to wiggle different wires while it was running till i found the one and it poped again.

I gotta find that damn wire then......this is going to be time cosuming....it must be with the MSD then because i never had a problem with it before i put the msd in....but all the wires are connected with no wires touching anything.....its really starting to piss me off...the car will run for like 2 days then won't start for 1 day....its like an ongoing problem...and I have been fucking with alot of wires but still can't find it....

ive had the msd set up in my car now for a few months. i had a few problems at the start only because of an installation error that i made. other than that, its running with the tach adapter with no problems whatsoever. if you have any questions, feel free to ask
