anybody know how to reset the ecu to get the check engine light to go out. I disconnected the hot wire from the ignition box to cycle the motor without firing and now the engine light is on and I dont know how to reset it. I know on the hon-duh's there is a fuse on the ecu that can be tripped and will reset evrything.
Why don't you look in "Things We've Seen Before" and read your previous post that was put there so others won't have to ask this question again.
If you do it and the light keeps coming back on, it means something is wrong.
