Anyone use Royal Purple motor oil?
Is it worth $3.95 a quart?
Does it really increase horsepower?

Some people swear that it's the best shit, that there's a minor noticeable difference in power/torque. Anyway I wanna go with Synthetic oil anyway and this is equivalently priced to Mobil 1 (the other Synth oil people swear by).

I've kinda got a connection at Dynamic Autosports, he quoted me $3.95 over the phone, I buy a lot of shit there and they are very cool with me for some reason. What does everyone else pay for Royal Purple?

Whats up. yeah i use royal purple and will die using it. There are two kinds that we can throw in our engines. the regular "Synthetic" type which is labled as usually 10w-30 or 5w-30 and so on which is priced around 5-6$ a quart. they also have bottles labled Racing 21 (equivalent to 5w-30) which is 10$ a quart. its all i use and all i will ever use. imho the engine runs noticeably smoother and very well may add a few ponies. a few people have told me that they can guarentee it does and can tell a difference, but all those have been turbocharged. i'd really like to get it dyno'd but to spend 100+ to check a few ponies is a little much for me. maybe i will do it one day. but from what i've been told by the Reps at RP its the Racing 21 that does add the power. if you can get the Racing 21 for 4$ a quart. you're gonna be shippin me alot of it!!!!! get the 55gal drums out.
