#16304, "(headgasket) anybody got a dealership to pay for the problem?"
The reason I brought this up is because my freind has a 97 dodge neon with the 420A engine, and Chrysler covered the cost when his headgasket started leaking oil. He told me this after I talking about my headgasket begining to leak oil on my car. Anyone out there had any luck getting Mitsubishi or Eagle(Chrysler) to cover the cost on this defective problem.

Got it done under warranty for my 98 dodge neon.
The thing is still leaking, and its out of standard warranty (even though i have extended warranty), will be taking it to the dealer this week to get replaced. Usually 5 star dealers dont give me much hassle. _________________ Vinnie Lima kiku@asog.net AIM: Kiku888 1997 Chrysler Sebring "Silver XTC" I4 420a w/ HRC Stage 2.45 w/ FMIC 14.7@97 mph@6psi Proud member of the ASOG BoOsT JuNkIe Crew

gf's neon got here third HG replaced all under 50,000 miles covered by chrysler, but you have to call the customer service number and open a case if its after the warranty, or they will charge you 1000 bucks, but the save goes for eclipse/avenger
