i will be pulling my engine soon to rebuild and was wondering what else do i need.

i have
howell rebuild kit
cm stage 4
and some other stuff but can't think of it now

my question is i know i need a headgasket and i remember hearing that there was like an upgraded (stronger or something) one from the one we have. am i right? if so where do i get it. and also what other gaskets will i need? i know of valve cover and plug gaskets. what else.

is there any special tools that i would need?

you can get a MLS head gasket from satan. Should be fine. I just bought mine about a month ago. 50.00 and it seems fine to me.

Go buy the upper gasket set from satan. It has all the gaskets you need, including the head gasket. You should have gotten the bottom end gasket set w/ the Howell rebuild kit. That way you will have all new gaskets for the whole engine. Its always better to be safe than sorry.
