has any one had any trouble with throwing their power stearing belt
I have had my car (96 gs) for a couple of years and I have thrown maybe 8 or nine belts. when ever I sport shift it from first to second at about 6500. this last time it threw the alt belt too.

Have the alignment on your pulleys checked. One of them (probably the PS pulley) is off.

Another cheap fix, JenCoDSM bought the same length belt EXCEPT a really skinny one and that has stayed on so far I guess.

I plan on doing that but need a measurement on the length of the belt.

our alt belt is 4 ribbd, and our p/s a/c belt is 5 ribbed. what evulflea was talkin about was using a 4 ribber on the p/s a/c assembly.

i did this just w/ p/s from cali to vegas with a 4g alt belt, and workd great.

do the alignment thing, and if u have more ?s about the alt/ p/s a/c u may wanna check my writeup for the udp install on my site.
