#1581, "help with my timing porblem...again dammit"

ok well i havent thought about this since i got my car back from the shop with the new head back in december but my car hits what seems like an invisible rev limiter at 6500 rpm. when i first got it back some of you may remember the timing was 2 teeth off and i hit this invisible wall at 3500 rpm, so i took it to satan and got it fixed, but now i cant redline. not that i want to all the time but its an inconvenience, out of the maybe 5 times i have raced, ive hit this snag in second gear three times and of course its like missing a gear altogether. is it possible that its still the timing even though satan fixed it?
what else could it be? plugs or wires? theyve never been replaced.

hey you might want to check your throttle body and see if it is opening all the way....i dont know i havent had this problem, but i would triple check the timing to make sure it is not off for any reason....but in the mods section of 2gnt there is a simple process to check to see if it is opening all the way.

http://2gnt.com/files/tbopen.htm

check that out and see if this is problem....let me know if it helps..
i also know a place to view the technical manual for the 420a engine...if you need it let me know
