Base your buying on performance gains, not sounds. Just run straight pipe if you want loud, or straight pipe, with a straight through design like an n1 muffler emoji

nice theory but i'd rather my car not sound like a high powered blender just to gain some performance. so yes sound does matter. there is such a thing as great performance with a nice low sound

I'll post a good sound from my Magnaflow stainless muffler. It sounds very nice, good tone, low, deep, and not real loud, nice idle too. Cruising speed not loud at all, mash the gas, and it roars nicely, not too loud again though. I'll post a file if someone knows how i can do that? Where can i host a sound file? anyone??

i guess a little tape recorder like would work. or run a long ass mic cord from your computer to outsid emoji All i would care about would be revs from sitting still. I don't think it's necessary to record while you drive. Also you could get someone to record from outside while you scream past them on the street. just some ideas. then use like a wav recorder to get it to the computer.
