what kind of gains would i get from a honed intake

traded in my 99 2g RS for a Titanium Pearl 03 3g GT

extrude honing is expensive if you havent researched it throughly yet, about 375 to do our manifolds, you can combine this with porting also for added gains.

Port your manifold and you will notice the car will have power all the way to the redline instead of dropping off around 6k rpm. You can usually find a place to port and gasket match for $80. Extrude Honeing is a LOT more $ but is a completely different process and is also more exact in the numbers. With the Ex. Hone they make sure each runner can flow the same amount of air.

I would say I have seen about a 0.15 to 0.20 second improvement in the 1/4 mile. But that does take some explaining.

Before I put it on, I was still in 15.8's, afterwards I got down to about 15.70. I've gone faster witout any more mods, but the day I ran my best run the weather and a properly wired and tuned SAFC were probably contributing to the time as well.
