shouldnt be super tough but it will have some pressure on it. Someone may have just replaced the clutch on it. Im guessing you bought it used because u said u used to drive an Acura. So...there may be a new clutch in it or it may just seem weird to you.

My clutch pedal is pretty tight. The original clutch, and 61,000 miles on it. I was actually kinda surprised how tight it was, that being i drive many sticks all the time at my shop. I did the clutch restrictor mod also, which made it a little tighter also. It just feels like my clutch is in really good shape, and no air in the fluid line. Don't worry about it, if anything it means your clutch is in pretty good shape i would assume...Maybe i'm just weak, but if i'm at a light for a little while, my leg starts to get a little tired if i keep in the clutch. If its a long light, i just put it in N, and let off the clutch...
