sounds like a wire problem. check resistance of the wires and let us know.

I'd start with the ignition system.. check your plugs and wires. I think DSM's have a "learning" PCM like my zx2 does.. so sometimes ya just have to let it sit and idle bad and it'll figure out what the problem is and fix it itself.

Check the wires. My wires went bad the other day and I thought my engine was really f'ed up. Luckily it was only $28 for new wires.

Sorry to hear John. Yeah well Dave you didnt tell him the whole story. See dave came to me w/ a similar report you did. i told him it was the wires, he still turned around bought an ignition coil from the dealer. found out it wasnt that, tried to return it couldnt. then replaced the wires. So it costed Dave 153$. learn from his mistakes. you can get performance wires from summit for 33-43$ or from autozone or discount for 28 if they have em. Dave i told you i aint lettin this one go...!!!! emoji

YEAH YEAH YEAH, I know, I should have listened to you.

John.....If you need a new ignition coil I have a brand new one in the box. I paid $125 for it and I will sell it for $80 to you. Let me know if you need it.
