I have a 98 eclipse rs with intake, exhaust, plugs, and plug wires. I'm confused on where to go in my next step for performance. So if you had my car and $600.00 what would you buy? I was thinking maybe headers a cat converter and an ignition box or a control module but after reading some messages i'm confused. Need help.

Anyone know anything about the jet v-force control module?
Also what about underdrive pulleys?

UDP is about the best bang for the buck, so I've heard. The reast of the money could bore out the throttle body and P&P the head...? I'm I going the right direction here N/A guys?

well.. depends what your goals are.. that 600 bux you have could be a start of your very own "turbo fund".. most ppl will tell you that boost is the best way to go.. if you want to stay NA, then phrenzie(sp?) is right.. UDP would be a good next step.. headers/cam gears/bored TB/gauges. those would be my suggestions.

^^what once was^^

^^what is now.. and permanently^^

W/ $600 dont try to start a fund now unless it will go up fast. You need a lot of extra $ for "turbo maintenance"(cant spell its to early). So unless you can buy the turbo kit, get it installed and tuned w/ everything and still have another $1000 left over in case something happens I dont suggest going turbo. Id get headers and UDP. It will be pretty quick for a NA.

If you are looking to get some power right away you may want to look in to Nitrous after getting the Under Drive Pulley.

even though i have them i wouldnt get headers. get an afx-udp, bored out throttle body, maybe some motor mounts. and if you want you could wait around for the new crane cams coming out pretty soon. they are getting shipped to afx-manufacturing some time soon. may want to give them a call. and if not that then nitrous is the quickest way to go.

weapon-r intake
greddy headers
apex-i n1 catback
afx udp
energy suspension
motor mounts
cf altezza tail lights
bored t/b

www.howellautomotive.com. go under afx products and get the underdrive pulley and the expensive throttle body. the throttle body is an easy install and the afx you would most likely want to have a garage put on for you. that should be about 15hp. that's what i would do given the money and the mods you have.

thanks beefgg for the sig
