Now how hasn't this been asked a million times? emoji

Alright, I got some cone filter right now - almost exactly like the K&N on stock intake piping. I really felt/heard no difference though because of the nice difference my muffler made (sound, speed). So will I be able to see an increase if I go to a CAI or short ram piping or is the real big difference with the cone air filter? That makes sense right? emoji

Thanks,
Mike.

I have an AEM CAI and i felt a difference in the upper RPM range, like around 4,000, but that was my first mod. If the filter is all you have for an intake i would get some kind of CAI. I like my AEM. Just make sure you get the by-pass valve if it rains a lot where you live.

Its not going to be a noticable difference. You see those little ridges on your stock piping? Well they hinder airflow from reaching the TB. More air=more horsepower. I would suggest getting the better piping, and while your at it might as well bet the TB bored out. More than likely you wont be able to feel any difference except for improved throttle response. Hope this helps.
