Getting oil leak from the backend of engine.

First, thought my oil pan is leaking so I spend few bucks on a new gasket.

While, I was degreasing my engine bay and carriage. I spotted the little(bastard) red plug next to the oil filter is the culprit.

Apparently, this plug is leaking not the oil pan gasket.

Could someone help out, what's this Red plug called on the right and what this Left black plug called.

Better picture.

Black plug on the left should be the oil pressure sensor. The plug on the right should be the knock sensor. Its more likely that oil is dripping down onto the knock sensor because the hole that it threads into doesnt connect with any oil passages.

Could it be one these failing leaking on the knock sensor.

What are "These" you are referring to? You have a picture of a knock sensor. It is not leaking.

Check the highest point you see oil leaking from.

There is a valve cover leak I have a new coming in two days from rockauto.

I did do an engine degrease spray down. After it completely dried, I noticed small leak round to the red plug.

Was wondering if there is something eles between the red plug and the valve cover. That could cause a oil leak.

My cam sensor is new, previous owner replaced it.
