#137941, "Auto Radiator Lines Usefull for Anything?"

My car is a manual. I'm running an auto tranny radiator with two additional fittings that I curently have connected with a simple hose. That hose is kind of brittle and now I wonder what I could do with those connectors. Is it possible to feed a watercooled turbocharger with these?

Any other ideas?

Are you talking about the separate circuit for the atf? You can use it for an oil cooler if you like. Or a power steering fluid cooler. Water cooled turbo can be plumbed off the main radiator/water pipe.

That's a seperate circuit? So there isn't any coolant in that lower section?

ATX radiators have a separate loop for cooling the trans fluid. On an MTX car, those would be unused. No, there's no coolant in there (or shouldn't be).

Thanks for that info! I always thought the coolant would run from the radiator into the auto tranny and cool it from the inside.

How efficient is that small cooler? Is it comparable with ... let's say a 10 row universal oil cooler?

It's not as efficient as an auxillary cooler
